Dear students
Gandhiji post has very few comments. As these posts are not dependent on the lab class, i wd like everyone to respond to it. These will be taken as your observation and evaluated for the same.
Regarding the comments: i did not want text bk ans abt gandhi, but i ended up getting very effusive praise abt gandhi. may be all of u sincerely feel liket that!
Aditya's was little different - analysing the reasons behind assassination. the latest bk 'who killed gandhi' raises simialr issues. i am yet to read it.
shalini's style was lil different.
Can we have shorter postings - few are too lengthy. short does not mean two sentences but no essays pls.
This week
Can you describe a day that shook your world? or The most happiest day! - Descriptive writing! Again no essays pls
i want all students to post comments for the earlier and this post

The happiest day of my life or let me say the day I remember to have experienced this distinct feeling of happiness happened when I was about four years old. Happiness is something that most humans strive for. Happiness is elusive .The best thing about this feeling of happiness is that it doesn’t happen every day. Imagine if only good things happened to you in your life, Day after day after day. Then would happiness still be all that great. If happy things happened to you daily then you would start equating happiness with monotony and happiness loses its sheen.
I was three years old. My dad was my super man then. He used to have this old scooter on which he used to take me on short rides .so I remember this particular day nothing special happened on that day. It was just our usual scooter ride. But that day somehow still remains etched to my memory. I remember myself as this little kid with a kudumi ,on my fathers scooter .I can still feel the wind on my face, still remember my dad , the scooter mirror ,the speedometer I never had any questions on my mind at that time I felt like a princess. Now I feel that I had really experienced what freedom was on that day I felt like a little birdie. Today I equate happiness to a certain level with freedom.
And this other day when I was in Kerala and I stamped elephant dung or the day I saw this huge elephant on the street during an onam procession. I was the only one on the street at that time .I still remember myself running frantically across the street and hitting my neighbors calling bell screaming “aana anna” on seeing the elephant .I dint really know what it was to feel scared at that time. I dint have doubts. I was happy really really happy .At that time, I never realized that these
were those small things that people grew up with. The things that really makes us truly happy.

Hi friends,
The happiest day in my life was the trip to kudhuraimukha,a tourist place in karnataka, a lovely region surrounded by trees and garden. I went there with my family and enjoyed a lot. This was my happiest moment.
12th march 2000 was the sadest day in my life because, God took away my affectionate, caring and sweet grandfather from the world, whom I loved a lot.

bye! bye!! bye!!!

My Dad is working in LIC...so he can claim LTC...
SO we are going to tour every year...
In my childhood days i have visited DELHI,KOLKATTA,DARJEELING,CHENNAI...etc...
Being a child i can”t recognize those places...by seeing the snaps only i identified “o, i am going to Tajmahal”...
I CAN EXPLAIN MY FIRST TIME JOURNEY IN FLIGHT...(IN MY 8TH STD)
In AIR DECCAN flight...
before entering into flight, between myself and my brother there is fighting...who is going to sit in window side...
after entering into flight we just run into the flight to capture the window side places...
and the flight take off..air hostess ask my brother and me to wear seat belt...but we can”t do that...
after take off, we are running here and there like playground...and finally air hostess came and forced my brother to sit in seat...but...my brother not at all listening to air hostess..finally air hostess give gifts to my brother...then only my brother sit in the seat..
Before one year...i am going to simla,kufri,manali...
from the manali we are going to one snow world ROHNTANG PASS...
it is a beautiful mountain covered with snow..
we are wearing track shoot at the first time..and my brother throw the ice ball to me...myself and my dad going to ice tyre journey...which was held in the highest point in the mountain...it was so difficult for me to reach that point...but when we travel in a tyre...its fantastic....i miss a lot those days...

My sad day...
when i got my tenth mark...
i have scored 98 in maths out of 100...
“o,dad scold me a lot to miss a medal...”
right now i got a scolding from my dad to miss a medal...

THE MOST HAPPIEST DAY OF MA LYF!!

Hi frnds,
Well, somethin recently happened in my life and it was jus unbelievable. Actually we had planned to go to mayajaal to celebrate one of my friend’s b’day. Things were goin accordin to plan when suddenly my friend's cousin who joined us in da middle of da journey, changed everythin . We were shocked when he said tat we are headin to FISHER MAN ‘S COVE (TAJ COROMANDEL) for a "catamaran ride".....we were like goin crazy. We jus got ready for da ride of our lives with da life jackets on (jus like wat Siddharth an Trisha did in da song NEE YARO in da flick “AAUYTHA EZHUTHU”). First we were kinda nervous on da catamaran but within minutes we were enjoyin it like hell. We were literally swimming in da middle of da Sea!!!........... Can u blv it?? actually we ourselves dint. It was like some dream come true. It was jus wonderful. We swam for like an hour an then reached da shore an went back to the hotel.
Probably it was da best moment in my life tat i wld cherish forever. It was an ecstatic experience tat i had an I wan all you guys to jus go out there an feel da waves……………… IT'S JUS AWESOME!!!

Hai friends,
Happiness is what everyone likes, want & its something which all are longing for.
I was put in hostel during my 11th standard where cried &cried all the day.I felt really horrible &sad staying in hostel without my parents . it was the time i really missed my parents a lot. There in hostel we had nothing to do with ,except our books.I really do not want think back those days in my life. But anyway I became dayscholar in my 12th std , making my grany stay with me.

On March 20 s soon as my last board exam got over i went Home running packed all the thuings & shifted to Salem. At that time (during my 12th ) i had no other thought except going back to my home.During my board exams my dreams was to reach Salem & spend my holidays in Salem .It was like a jail for me those two years . I never even want to think about it now.
It was that MARCH 20th Which gave release from me.& its the most happiest day in my life.
as i do find all days happy in my life I Find this the most happy one. Even if now some speaks about the school where i did my 11&12th I great irritated.
You can ask me how do I stay in hostel now. Here I can I speak to my parents whenever I want & can Go home all weekends. I was given lot of advise before joining here.Comparing to that jail here we are left free.
Except those 2 years I feel all day
happy in my life..............

hello everybody ...............
me again...............
this time i am gonna talk about the happiest day of my life ..................
well it goes long back to a decade ago. i was only eight then. i went to goa along with my family and relatives. i felt the long travel from my home town cuddalore to goa bizarre. because until then i had never had traveled long. but we stopped in many places like bangalore, mangalure, hill stations etc. three nights and two days. finaly we reached goa. i felt very happy then that we reached our destination. and that long bus travel was over. tben we all went to the church of emmaclaute conception. i felt it was fantabulous the architecture speciously. after entering that church i felt i was somewhere in the heaven. the bells rang . i felt the music of those bells. that time i almost forgot the inconvenience that i had in the long bus travel. i was roaming inside the church like a electron. during this time i don't know to talk properly in English . so i had the language problem there. i don't know the local language too. but i interacted with lots of foreigner's, nuns. i was given with lots of complements for my sweet talk. i still have a few of them with me. what those nuns and other tourists gave me. one was a book on st. savior, then the other was a rosary but all those beads had gone off except for the cross in it . i lost a few more when we shifted our house. then we attended a mass there. then we left for beach in the evening . we were there only for seven hours but i still cherish it. because i still cannot think of any other happiest day until now. because i have a bad memory i forgot what happened in our school tour three years before. but still i remember those seven hours inside that church. so it doesn't means that i have only my vacation as my happiest moment in my life. i had enjoyed lots of days in my life ... but they all come only after it.
thats all folks...............
until next time

Hi everybody,

This is Satish,

Im very happy to write my happiest days. The happiest day in my life is the day when i met my best friend after five months of gap. when he was in chennai I had a small misunderstanding with him, so i cant able to communicate with him. After he went to Bangalore,he called me. But i refused to talk to him. Then i met him after five month of gap. I feel so happy and my eyes were filled with tears when i saw him. He is very supportive and encouraged me a lot. He is like my brother. I think that is the happiest day in my life. Even when i recalls that incident, i feel happy and get oer from my worries. I am very thankful to our English mam for choosing this topic.
And see you all in next blog

hey guys
I think you are interested in knowing the happiest day of my life.I was really happy when I went to the JRC(Junior Red Cross)camp. Ennore was the camp site. It was like a village place. All our friends were there. To start off the bus journey was awesome. We really enjoyed singing and dancing during the journey. We reached the camp site and the place was pretty beautiful. We played for some time and went to a old age home. The people in the home were really kind to us and considered us as their grand children and told their life stories. It was really a proud and a happy moment for me.We interacted with eveyone there and on our way back we went to the beach. There is no happy moment than when the huge ocean waves travel far and touch your legs. We had an amazing time there and and returned home. It was a memorable day.Hope I will have many more happy days.......

hi friends,

The happiest day of my life :

The happiest day in my life is when i won the first prize in march past and obviously my birthday. I was very happy when i won the first prize in march past. Its not a individual competition it is a group competition. You know one thing while coming to the group work if one of our group member didn't perform well means we can't win. Another advantage in the group work is we will get lot of friends.
On that day i danced because of excitement etc,
In my perspective, all the days in my life are happiest days. Definitely i want to mention this ANIMALS, is the main reason for my happiness in my life. I love animals especially dogs.

The happiest day of my life, by far, is the first dance I ever had with my grandpa. It was the most amazing experience. He whispered in my ear, "I love this song." My grandpa has since passed and I can't help but cry every time I hear that song. It will forever be etched in my heart, my mind, and my soul.

pa(i cal him pa), I miss you everyday. You will always be my HERO. No one could ever walk in your shoes. No one could ever bring me joy the way that you have. You have touched my life in a way no words could ever express. You are my greatest inspiration.I love you and will forever.Your spirit lives with me, and I shall live to make you proud of me.

no matter how hard i try ... i really find it difficult to identify one day as" the happiest " in my life ... well anyways ... here's wat i've got to say ..
like anyother of those belongin to my age group , i value my friends more than anything in the world...one of the happiest days of my life was the day when i discovered a true friend ..
i was getting back home from a friend's place in kodambakkam sometime around 7.30 in the evening , after i was yelled at by my mom over the phone to get back home soon.i was in such a hurry becoz i didn want to get into too much trouble when i got back.the next thing i knew, i was down on the ground next to the ambedkar statue. apparently some 4-wheeler had hit me from the side.the policeman helped me up and asked if i was alright on seeing my right hand wounded. i got a bit worried when they started taking down my vehichle's number as i didn't have a license with me. and so i told him i was fine n moved from the place, not wanting to get into trouble. after i rode a certain disrance, i couldn remember where i was and didn kno the way. went blank..i pulled over n thought that i'd wait till i get back to normal. i couldn even call my dad for help as he was out of town.
at this point, my friend calls me co-incidentally.i told her that i got into an accident. she asked me not to move from that place and caught an auto to where i was immediately.she took me to the hospital, kept yelling at me the whole way for careless driving , dragged me to the doctor's room where i was literally sceaming that i wouldn't go coz i was terrified of injections(..lol..). she then got me back home(mogappair) around 10( chennai traffic is such a nightmare). she never really bothered about the problems that she might get into at her place.all she wanted was to help me out and make sure that i was safe. what she did for me , really moved me. i was so touched to find that someone would really care for me that much and that i really meant so much to her. she and i have been the best of friends ever since and i just pray that we stay the same for years together !!

(it's me vaagee) On a sunny day in the month of May me and my friend was discussing about the match which is last day played by India. We both were feel boar to sit in the home itself. So we both decide to go to the film. Usually we took his bike. But his bike was in repair on that day. So we started thinking how to the theatre. On that time I got a idea to take my brother’s bike. It is a new bike bought a few weeks before. He didn’t allow me to take the bike so I kept silent and took the bike from my house. I usually love to ride at 80’s. But I ride at 40. Because it is a small street. My friend started teasing which make me to increase the speed at around 60. In a slight curve I missed the balance we both fall on a sand which make us protect from a accident. But the bike scroll on a road and hit in a auto and stopped there. It was around 2’o clock in afternoon so there is not much people in the street. Some people coming towards us. I didn’t have license too. The people caught us and enquire us. My friend took the bike slightly where I manage the people to talk with them. He start the bike and I jumped over it we escaped from the place which people was unexpected. We crossed that street and stopped the bike. We didn have that much problem there were slight scratch in our body . but the bike was in severe problem it was so difficult to ride in that. After a long time we reach the mechanic shop. The mechanic man told us to make it as before with no identity of accident is of cost 1500 and we both went for our friends shop where he told as it was cost of 1000. We both were shocked because i am having 100 and my friend is having 100 totally we have 200 not more than that. We both took the bike and came to friends home. It is a new bike so if I told that to my house means they will not allowed me to took the bike further. So I sit in a shoba like a statue. My friend made idea to ask to all friends and describe the situation and ask the money. On that day only we collect nearly 2000 rupees and we repair the bike. That time I got the full meaning of ‘ A FRIEND IS NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED ‘ . You thought it may be a stupid thing to blog tis. But it is a situation where I realize that I found good friends in my life.
