Anna Schmidt – German
Giavanni Capello – Italian
Jamila Ranjha – Indian
Ali nadeem – Pakistani
Nagazumi – Japanese
Juan – Spanish
Chung Suli – Chinese
Danielle – French
Ranjit Singh - Punjabi

My comments:

In my opinion it wasn’t all that great! Not to say it wasn’t worth watching. The level of comedy wasn’t too high in fact! There were only a handful of dialogues worth laughing over. There were a few humorous parts n not so humorous parts. Felt it could hav reached out to the audience a lil better. But anyways any film for that matter would hav sumthng nice about it n sumthng not so nice about it. Well it was a blend of humor and stupidity. On its own twas pretty gud. Probably it was a gud start for us. Personally felt that Ali Nadeem and Ranjit Singh justified their role in both the episodes or in other words twas an amazing role played by them.

Principal-Ms.Courtney
Teacher-Mr. Jeremey Brown(English)

Anna Smith-German
Gavanni Quepello-Italian
Jamila Ranjan-Pakistan
Ali Nadim-Pakistan
Ranjeeth Singh-India
Aro Nagazumi-Japanese
Danielle-French
Chung Sooli-Chinese
Walter-Spain

Here goes my comments:
This show which is beleived to be a humourous one is quite funny but can't b called the best. The princi is an uptight lady who is very conscious in telling people tat she is not married.Poor Mr.Brown has too much to handle. The arrival of Danielle worsens the situation as all the guy students are more interested in flirting with her rather than learning English. They differ in their locality, language, culture, interests n so on which makes it much more funny.Mr.Nagazumi is always ready 2 bow his head b4 sayin anything while the Chinese diplomat Ms.Sooli is interested in talking about democracy with the little English she knows. On the other hand Mr.Ali and Mr.Ranjeeth singh are real funny n r doing a great job.Personally I Feel that the comedies should be much more updated.People do crazy things to make us laugh but not all crazy stuff are funny. To conclude this show is funnny but not funny enough...

Hi I’m Swathi Paul,
First let me comment on the sitcom ,I’ve already seen mind your language .And for all my classmates who found it funny I would like to tell them that I felt like watching Bombay circus .As an activity it was gr8.The episode actually showed the importance of English as a link language .It also showed how natives from different countries react when they are first exposed to English. .It was a good choice esp. as the first activity of the year. Please don’t make me comment anymore on the humor part which was non –existent in the sitcom .I dint want to resemble a robot watching TV or seem abnormal or act depressed so ,I tried laughing at parts when my friends laughed. Now I feel it was hypocrisy. It was a gr8 way to note how people from different cultures react differently for the same situation..
Now I would like to list the names, nationalites and the professions of the various characters.
Miss Courtney (British, Principal)
Mr. Jeremy Brown (British, school teacher)
Ali Nadim (Pakistani, unemployed)
Giovanni Capello(Italian ,chef)
Anna Schmidt(German, maidservant)
Taro Nagasuki (japnese,electronics merchant)
Ranjith Singh(Indian, underground railway worker)
Chung-Su-Lee(Chinese, secretary of diplomat)
Jamilla Ranjha(Indian, house wife)
Maximillian Papandrious(Greek, shipping industry)
Juan Cervantes(Spanish, bartender)
Danielle Farv(French)

my comment :

some of my friends here have commented that the episodes were not all that funny. swathi even said that humour was non-existent . but i found it rather entertaining. the soul purpose of the show is to gain a considerable amount of audience and i feel that the show has earned it. at the end of the day, the show helps those who get back from a long day of hard work to relax with its simple yet witty humour . ppl ought to be a little more open minded when it comes to comedy .and i must say that they've done a good job in trying not to bring up any racial controversies. on the whole , i thought it was funny n i liked it.my favourite among the characters was ali nadeem.

MIND UR LANGUAGE is the first film which i saw in english lab .It was a funny movie but it is not very attractive any way it makes the people to laugh.in that movie peoples from different places came to learn english. mr.brown who is a english teacher finds very difficult to each them english.ali is always funny and he speaks a litle bit of english. roger kenyon who is a educational inspector came to mr.brown's class
and brown thought him as his student and when he came to know him as a edu inspector his face reacion is very nice .therefore this movie is just funny and it is not a real comedy.

This is one of the most funniest series committed to video.I hav seen this series in my childhood. The characters are really humourous, looks like we are promised for a gd fun.Thumbs up for a great portrait of characters. Each one is unique on its own.Their body language is also a remarkable one.The jokes come thick and fast, they are incorrect, incorrect, stupid, but, hilarious. It also depicts the life of ppl in 1970's as this series was aired on that time. Each character plays up to the cultural stereotype of their individual nation of origin. This really impressed me.The episodes were really entertaining and was achingly funny. My fav characters r ali nadeem and jeremy brown.Mr. Brown is up to the challenge, and often puts up with the student's often literal interpretations of the English language. He even looks innocent at times. But the way he handles d situation is brilliant.Ali nadeem often literally misinterprets everything said by others and d way he manages them is awesome. On the whole it is a CLASSIC.

My comments:

This is my first experience to watch “Mind your language”. The program was very interesting and humorous. It makes me to know the necessity of English language around the globe from businessman to servant. All the characters are unique and the way they express their thoughts is appreciatable. Fight between Japanese and Chinese, Indian and Pakistani reflects the disintegrity of people even in a small room. The Chinese diplomat was very sharp in her thoughts and very cute. Definitely the character who catches my mind is Ali natheem. He was very funny and his accent of English makes me laugh like anything. Moreover it helps me to reduce my mental stresses by laughing and refreshes my mind. And I like to watch all the episodes again and again. Definetely I will give 5 stars to this program.

According to me i dont say the series was that very good b'coz, its not suitable for this generation youngesters to see well.it was bit worthy watching may be teenagers of the 70's would have been enjoying it.but now a days there are many comic series that would attract many children and adulds.better than mind ur language.so i dont think that i enjoyed it a bit but i felt the humor was too handy.they have used the characters of ali nadeen and ranjith sing well that's all my comments.

hey guys
adithya here
I find mind your language to be one of the most hillarious tv series I have ever seen, im sure thats a point that will be argued upon going by the posts here. In the episodes that we saw, i think the interactions between Ali and Ranjit were simply amazing. The comic sense of timing was spot on . The reactions of the actors ,for instance ,the inspector supressing his suprise on being treated as a student, Mr.Brown reacting to the most horrendous use of words by the students and so on were potrayed magnificently.

Miss Courtney - English
Mr. Brown - English
Maximillian – Greek
Anna Schmidt – German

I like to watch humorous movies and series. So I thank my mam for putting this series(mind your language) it was the most funniest series that I ever watch. Our mam put two episodes. In these episodes I like Ali nadeem who was a Pakistani.because i like his character very much. From begining till the end his performance was extraordinary and his sense of timing was very good.the next person whom i liked was Ranjith sing who was a punjabi. Fight between Japanese and Chinese, Indian and Pakistani is the highlight in this series. because this serial is just funny and it is not a not a real one.One the whole I enjoyed by watching this series.

i dont quite understand why people are seemingly oblivious of the fact that this series was conceptualized eons ago, and in the context it was revolutionary. This is certainly not modern day humour, for had it been modern dat humour, there would be religeous protests by all communities in existence. It outlines racial issues and to me it would have been apt comedy series while still under colonial rule .

In my opinion it wasn’t all that great! Not to say it wasn’t worth watching. There were a few humorous parts n not so humorous parts. Felt it could hav reached out to the audience a lil better.Personally I Feel that the comedies should be much more updated.People do crazy things to make us laugh but not all crazy stuff are funny. To conclude this show is funnny but not funny enough...
